Nikki is a travel startups based in Saigon - a city filled with a generation craving for exploration & self-expression. The team commits to bring great travel experiences by their high-quality & cutting-edged products, but the current brand had yet to convey the message.

Problem


To strengthen the bond between Nikki and its customers, we undertook research to understand the travellers' concern, from the deepest emotion on each journey they're on to the motivations behind each decision they make. While travel means to be unperturbed as a mean to escape from life, sometimes, reality is just the opposite: bulky luggages, unfavorable weather, heavy traffic, and countless concern... All of these can hinder travellers from being fully indulge in exploring sites and having a desired trip.

The Unboxing of Adventure

The focus of the entire identity is the unboxing experience. Every time you open the box, each time you open a new journey. The customer is greeted with an inspiring quote. For collection purpose, a set of luggage sticker is included with the product manual, where we list various unconventional challenges for travellers.

Fun & lively graphics are the highlight to settle the playful mood in every communication. We create a bespoke illustration style with liberal stroke in combination with overflow color shape to express how things might not fit in our plan while travelling. In addition, luggage quality and features is illustrated as a comparison to travel activities.

The brand assets are married together on the court and it’s surroundings, with cropped graphic devices being used on courtside advertisement boards and smaller logos being used on finer details,
